[Well, that does earn an eyebrow raise... before:]

That must be tough.

[Mostly for the amount of times Teddy can guess that people have told him about the other Loki, or mistook him for it, especially after Cap's announcement. But maybe also for the fact that he's just Loki.

But enough of that. He holds out a hand to shake with an easy smile.]

My name's Teddy.

[Loki pulls a face at that but chuckles afterwards.]

It is not as bad as it sounds, really. Well...it would be bad if I was the Loki that invaded Midgard accompanied by an unknown alien race.

That would be most tough.

[He looks at Teddy's hand and raises his eyebrows.]

Of course, the shaking of hands. It is a fitting gesture for an informal encounter in the kitchen.

[So he grabs Teddy's hand and shakes it rather enthusiastically]

[Teddy grins, even goes along with the enthusiastic shake. He knows better than to judge just because someone may have ties to a villain, or may become it, or whatever; he was friends with Nate, after all, and that was future!Kang the Conqueror. He was a good person, too.

Once they finish shaking hands, Teddy gestures with his shoulder towards the wall, or, rather, the door in the middle of it.]

And I'm from the house of Apartment 21. It's nice to meet you outside of parties and masks.

I was actually just about to make some coffee. Did you want some, or...?

Ah. Isn't Billy living there as well?

[Loki crosses his arms, quite happy with the fact that he does not get the usual questions about him being Loki. He pulls a face at the mention of coffee.]

Coffee? That bitter, warm liquid Midgardians are so very fond of? Most definitely gross.

You could always add milk and sugar to make it sweetish instead. But all right, note taken. No coffee.

[All the more for him, then. /o/ But let's go on to that other subject.]

Billy and I live together. [He smiles at that, but he won't say why. Who knows if this kid Loki would accept that kind of thing or just tease the hell out of it?]

All the sugar in the world cannot turn coffee into a tasteful drink, Teddy.

[Loki notices that smile and quickly analyzes it. It could mean that Teddy is smiling over his comment about coffee, and Loki knows he's extremely witty, but that type of smile does not apply to such a thing...]

You are very fond of Billy, right?

[Teddy still smiles, but gives a playful roll of his eyes to the coffee comment. Very well. You either love or hate coffee, really.

But that question...]

You got that out of me living with him? [But he knows; It was probably the smile. This is Loki we're talking about, no matter how young he is. He can analyze expressions and body language as well as his older self.] ... But yeah. I'm pretty fond of him.

[Loki moves to crouch down in front of the fridge, slowly picking out a couple of things.]

Aye.

[He nods shortly before he finally puts a couple of ingredients on the counter. A grin creeps around his lips.]

Are you two most romantically in love?

[He forms a small heart with his hands, pressing thumbs and indexfingers together.]

[A grin creeps over his face as well. Damn, but he's good. Teddy doesn't mind, though; He's unashamed, and he's not about to withhold anything just because this is the young version of the guy he doesn't like very much.]

Most romantically. Yes.

You are homosexuals.

[He knows that, homosexuals is a thing when two men like eachother. The world of online is full of them and mostly they are involved in the act of homosexual sex. Midgardians are fond of recording their sexual habits and put those on the internet.]

[There's a slight tilt of his head at that.]

Well, I'd be a little worried if Billy was heterosexual and still loving a guy like me. So yeah, we are.

[Of course, sexuality is all very fluid and he knows that; one could be straight and still find a guy or two attractive, one could like both genders, one could not want anything at all. Still, this conversation is honestly kind of amusing and interesting. Seeing how Teddy isn't even trying to get his coffee yet, much preferring talking to this younger Loki.]

[Loki shakes his head. He knows this.]

If that would be the case Billy would be a bisexual, you see?

Midgardians have a lot of different sexual preferences. Some more scary than the other.

[That, and a twelve year old should not know that much about sexuality in the first place.]

Mm, yeah, that's true.

[Loki's a god, he figures. He can just as well know about the fundamentals of rocket science at that age and Teddy wouldn't be surprised.]

Nothing scary about us, though. [Now, he finally moves forward to pour the coffee.] Just two gay guys in love.

[Granted, with Billy it's easy to tell, and with Teddy, one probably wouldn't know unless he came out and said so. Just another part of it all.]

[Well, Teddy is overestimating him a bit there. Loki knows a lot and wants to know a lot, but rocket science...not entirely.]

Homosexuals do not scare me. They seem rather harmless, especially when they dress up in maiden's dresses and wear multicolored flags. I do think they are the type of Midgardians who are capable of giving a lot of love.

I do think I am not a homosexual.

[He shakes his head.]
