[Well, the hope to find Leah back is quite gone and Loki spends his days walking around, snooping through Helios' magicbooks and reading said magicbooks on secret reading places.

He is not entirely aware of the girl and her attempts on catching a fish. Instead he is making notes on a paper and drawing pentagram-like patterns underneath it.

Thori is lying next to him but when the bait on Konan's hook is catching his eye the dog dashes off to (set it on fire) snap at it. Loki merely mutters something along the lines of 'no Thori, sit']

[Konan glances over when she hears the faint sound of muttering nearby. She smiles when she sees the boy and his dog, then turns her focus back to catching a fish. It doesn't take long at all before a good sized fish comes nibbling at her bait. She's quite efficient about actually killing the fish, clubbing it in the head quickly so that it doesn't suffer needlessly. Once that's done, she tosses it in a bucket she brought with her and cleans her hands off in the water.

There's a nagging thought - she knows that boy. He does look familiar. Quite likely, he knew her bigger self. She finally heads over to say hello.]

[While much tinier than before, her hair colour is still the same and there's the tell-tale paper flower pinned in her hair.]

[Loki looks up at the girl, casually folding the paper he is scribbling on because he rather not wants to share that with anyone.]

[He recognizes her, especially since he knows of the fact that the Malnosso are rather fond of turning a variety of the Village's denizens into younger versions.]

I see you have fallen victim to the Malnosso's de-aging process as well, Konan.

It was a little weird seeing grown-up me's clothes...but at least it explained why I remembered everyone being different heights.

[At first she thought it was an illusion being used on her to warp her perception - possibly part of her teacher's training.]

Your name is Loki, right? I don't have all of my memories.

[It sounds right, though, and he looks so much like the older Loki who came to meet her and got her some lunch.]

Well, if you remember me I think your memories will be sufficient.

[He nods while tucking the paper away, safe between his notebook. After all, there is still so much planning he has to do.]

I am rather surprised to find someone here. After all, the lake is quite a long walk.

[The tone of his voice remains chipper while he closes his book as well.]

I wanted to catch a fresh fish for Amaya and Sumire - they're Itachi and Law's cats.

[Fish are abundant in her country, where days without even the slightest amount of rainfall are rare. She's become quite proficient at catching them.]

They are cats of the law? I never knew the law is able to keep felines.

[He's joking while he tucks away all his belongings in his bag.]

[Konan giggles at the joke.]

This isn't a law as in a rule. This is a man named Law. He's really nice.

I hope Law obeys the law. It would be quite ironic if he would be a criminal.

It really would be...but what if he was a good guy who broke laws made by evil people? Would that make him Outlaw Law?

[She's trying to join in on the punny fun now, too.]

Outlaw Law breaking the law. The evil law.

That is a witticism I can appreciate, yes.

[He nods.]

Maybe Outlaw Law would become Lawful Law when the evil law was defeated!

[Now she's just being silly, but she's enjoying the joke.]

Perhaps, but since the evil law has spawned from evil it will be more difficult to defeat. It might involve an epic quest for justice. Justified Lawful Law, so to speak.

But is he Lawful Law until the evil law has been defeated? The law is still the law even if it's an evil law, so Law would be Outlaw Law, or Justified Outlaw Law.

[Now there's a tongue twister.]

Evil law is the law but the law enforced by people who prefer evil law. The normal people will obey the evil law but not agree with it. Perhaps Law can be Outlaw Law but Lawful Law at the same time.

Like a double identity.

A secret spy.

[Konan has to think about that for a couple of seconds.]

Well, he is close to Itachi and Itachi's an amazing ninja, so he could have picked up enough to be a good secret spy.

Does this Itachi possess a certain certificate that proves he is secret spy? And if so, does he train others to become secret spies as well? After all if he trains Lawful Outlaw Law to be a spy.

Does Itachi like his drinks shaken, not stirred?

[Konan blinks and looks utterly confused. That reference went right over her head.]

Itachi is a ninja...so I don't know if there's any special certificates, but ninja are taught all about information gathering.

Aye, ninjas are a sort of secret spies, with swords. They battle pirates frequently by using their stealthy abilities.

[Loki nods to himself.]

I am sure they expertise in gathering information as well, yes.
