[When the feed turns on Loki is obviously sitting on his bed, looking intently at whoever is listening. The message he has for everyone is of great importance after all. Finally he opens his mouth, voice firm.]

Land of Luceti! There is something that has come to my attention and I see it as my duty to enlighten you about this, yes?

[He leans closer to the screen because this is a most serious matter, everyone.]

I shall tell you my name and then I shall explain you what usually follows.

[He pulls a face and when he continues his voice is higher as if he is mimicing a woman.]

Oh my! Your name is Loki! Shall I tell you about this other Loki who is also most definitely Loki?

[After that Loki clears his throat.]

Land of Luceti, I am very aware of my older self's presence, you see? It pains me to see how everyone wastes their time on pointing that out to me every time I mention my name.

[He smiles a broad and very, very nice smile.]

If there are any questions, please let me know. I am very fond of answering questions, yes?

[Later that day Loki heads out to the forest to do some exploring. He still hopes to find his way back to Asgard, even though his opinion about this village and some of its inhabitants is leaning towards a more positive one.

He plans to go more in the direction of those mountains when something gray, firebreathing and extremely foulmouthed catches his attention. Actually, he is very ~~pleasantly~~ surprised.]

[Loki turns away from the small path he has been following into the bushes to fetch his beloved dog and scratch it between its ears. After that he lifts the dog up and holds it in his arms.

The dog lets its disapproval known by letting out an impressive amount of profanities. Loki merely shakes his head.]

Hush, Thori, you are a good dog, remember?

[Loki has left this letter for Asch to read. Neatly typed on a typewriter.]

To Asch the Bloody,

I am very delighted that I got the honour to write a man whose last name is "The Bloody". It implies that one is a bloodthirsty murderer who likes to end the lives of his victims in a most bloody way.

Are you fond of bloody murder, Asch the Bloody? I find it rather gross. After all, bloodstains are quite difficult to remove from one's clothing. And it is unnecessary messy.

Do enlighten me about your bloody adventures, Asch the Bloody. I am most interested!

As I often tell the mortals... immortal is not the same thing as invulnerable.

[Stare. Well, if his younger self does not get the joke about being a kitten-eating monster, he's certainly not going to explain it.]

Don't be snide, younger self. It's unbecoming.

But you are most vulnerable, older self! Saori has told me that. They attacked you and wounded you.

[His voice sounds more serious now and has lost its very bored and annoyed undertone. He sits closer to the screen now.]

Allow me to tell you something, older self. I am not willing to give you information, you are not willing to give me information. Because, after all, we are Loki, yes? Yes.

[There is a long pause. Because he is carefully debating what he could tell his older self and what absolutely not. Finally he decides to filter the conversation he is having with his older self because this is meant for him and him alone.]

I do think I am very capable of understanding your motives. It is just most aggravating to see how you give in to senseless anger and utter depression. All you do is blaming me for lacking experience and that my name, my reputation makes it unable for me to change things or escape a certain fate, yes?

But here is the catch, I will change things, and defy fate if I have to.

And it is not to become a 'good warrior of Asgard' or to mirror my brother's deeds. My brother is dead.

[Loki is aware that his voice is getting louder the more he speaks.]

But I shall reveal something important to you. It might even please you, older self.

I was the one who orchestrated Thor's death.

"Most vulnerable?" [Loki rolls his eyes.] Had I been mortal, younger self, Clint Barton would have succeeded and killed me. I know his capabilities well. But have I not already said that we are not invulnerable? It's quite obvious.

[His lips thin out to a displeased line.]

Senseless. [He makes a rude noise.] You are not in full possession of the facts. And you shan't be. [He is getting very tired of having what he does dismissed in this fashion, but at the same time, is it not more convenient? People tend to ignore what they dismiss and misunderstand. Or it means they are looking for actions which will not come, and that is very much to his advantage... most of the time. Still, it does get frustrating at times. He makes an annoyed sound.

He falls silent, though, at this next revelation.

He should be happy, he thinks, to know that at least in some time, Thor is dead. Perhaps this feeling is disappointment that he didn't get to see to that personally, do it with his own hands. What else could it be?

What else could it be, this strange, hollow feeling?

His expression is set in very careful, neutral lines when he next speaks.]

[Loki listens very carefully and finally shakes his head. He had hoped to get at least a response from his older self. Something he could agree with.

But all he hears are words coming from a mouth of someone he does not want to become.

In a sense it saddens him. That even in an alternate universe he still changed into this lonely individual, tainted by jealousy, driven by anger.

The annoyed and rather uncouth noises the other makes are not helping either.]

I see. I am annoying you, yes?

[Loki shakes his head again.]

I am not going to answer that question.

As you have grown weary of being constantly told what that there is an older, terrible Loki, I am intensely weary of assumptions made in regards to my motivations and emotions.

I am weary unto death of people acting as if they know who I am.

[His lips thin.]

I see. [Well, he should have expected that, really.]

That assumption is not quite true, older self.

[His voice sounds tired and a bit distant while he shakes his head.]

I will refrain from wariness.

Oh?

[Of course Loki is wary, but he's also annoyed and confused. But he's not going to tell the truth about that.]

Aye.

[The eyebrows go up in a way that plainly states, younger self, you are full of something brown and squashy and unpleasantly aromatic.]

Good day, younger self.

[Crooked smile rather than full blown smirk, because winning an argument against your younger self really isn't that much of a triumph.

He shuts his journal.]

[Loki huffs and can't be bothered to wish his older self a good day as well.]

Most aggravating!

[He shuts his journal as well an decides to go to the forest, after all, he is not good at sitting still.]
