[When the feed turns on Loki is obviously sitting on his bed, looking intently at whoever is listening. The message he has for everyone is of great importance after all. Finally he opens his mouth, voice firm.]

Land of Luceti! There is something that has come to my attention and I see it as my duty to enlighten you about this, yes?

[He leans closer to the screen because this is a most serious matter, everyone.]

I shall tell you my name and then I shall explain you what usually follows.

My name is Loki...

[He pulls a face and when he continues his voice is higher as if he is mimicing a woman.]

Oh my! Your name is Loki! Shall I tell you about this other Loki who is also most definitely Loki?

[After that Loki clears his throat.]

Land of Luceti, I am very aware of my older self's presence, you see? It pains me to see how everyone wastes their time on pointing that out to me every time I mention my name.

[He smiles a broad and very, very nice smile.]

If there are any questions, please let me know. I am very fond of answering questions, yes?

[That is a lie.]

[Later that day Loki heads out to the forest to do some exploring. He still hopes to find his way back to Asgard, even though his opinion about this village and some of its inhabitants is leaning towards a more positive one.

He plans to go more in the direction of those mountains when something gray, firebreathing and extremely foulmouthed catches his attention. Actually, he is very ~~pleasantly~~ surprised.]

By Odin's empty eyesocket! Thori!

[Loki turns away from the small path he has been following into the bushes to fetch his beloved dog and scratch it between its ears. After that he lifts the dog up and holds it in his arms.

The dog lets its disapproval known by letting out an impressive amount of profanities. Loki merely shakes his head.]

Hush, Thori, you are a good dog, remember?

[Loki has left this letter for Asch to read. Neatly typed on a typewriter.]

To Asch the Bloody,

I am very delighted that I got the honour to write a man whose last name is "The Bloody". It implies that one is a bloodthirsty murderer who likes to end the lives of his victims in a most bloody way.

Are you fond of bloody murder, Asch the Bloody? I find it rather gross. After all, bloodstains are quite difficult to remove from one's clothing. And it is unnecessary messy.

Do enlighten me about your bloody adventures, Asch the Bloody. I am most interested!

[Loki scratches Thori's ears, Thori replies with 'Murdermurder'. Slowly he puts the dog down on the ground.]

They prefer normal dogs on Asgard, if I am correct.

[He pauses for a moment to think.]

We could go and take Thori for a walk, yes? Or are you needed somewhere else?

[Why is it talking about murder, should he be afraid right now, augh]

...No, no... we can walk. ...It's not really going to kill anybody, is it? It seems really... enthusiastic.

[Loki watches Thori dashing off towards a large chunk of wood.]

I have trained Thori well, Billy. Therefore no harm shall come to anyone.

[He stays quiet for a while, keeping an eye on Thori.]

Ah. Of course, I think this is a perfect moment to ask you about your well being, yes?

So, Billy, how are you?

[...Well, okay, he'll trust you on this, little-Loki. But he's watching the dog, too. Just in case. (Also it's kind of morbidly fascinating. Good thing their apartment is mostly concrete.)]

Me? I'm okay. Glad things are finally starting to get back to normal, though. I don't think I could've handled any more craziness.

The land of Luceti is a rather hectic place. I think a strong mind is important.

[He taps against his head.]

I shall give you some free advice, yes?

If this craziness is unable to handle, just focus on something that is important to you. Focus is important.

[Billy's brows lift at that, caught off guard for a moment.]

That's... pretty good advice, actually. I guess I tend to get caught up in the big picture too much. Might take some work to focus on something smaller.

Of course.

[Loki is tempted to tell Billy that he is amazing at giving advice but he decides to not say it. He just nods shortly and turns to look at him.]

So? If things get out of hand, what will you focus on? Or...let me rephrase that... What is important for you?

That's pretty easy, especially in this place. Friends, family, Teddy. And helping people. Trying to keep on being a hero, even if we don't have as much power or opportunity here.

[Loki nudges Billy and chuckles.]

You sound like a true hero. And I can assure you that this is not a lie. I never lie.

[He makes a mental note that he should try to regain his magic abilities again. After all, the land of Luceti provided him with all the time he needs.

And this is even more important now his older self is here as well. At least, an older self from another universe.]

[Billy has to wonder about that comment on lying- not because he doubts Loki, but because you don't have to lie to get around the truth, and why emphasize it so much?

He must have his reasons, though. He doesn't know either Loki well enough to recognize the reasoning behind it, so he purses his lips and looks thoughtful, instead.]

Well, what about you? What's your focus?

[His focus... Well, Loki has a lot of things to focus on, actually. But it basically comes down to one thing...]

Clear my name.

[...Ah.]

Because of- the older Loki?

[It's not a question, not really.]

One can put it like that, yes.

[Loki nods. And he wishes he was able to recall anything about what his older self has done, besides that last sacrifice he made for Asgard.]

But I take it you get along with my older self?

Yeah... it's kind of surprising, but he's not... as bad as I expected. I don't know if it's an alternate universe thing or if he's just misunderstood...

[Is that insulting? It's hard to see this version of Loki as anything like his older self, alternate reality or not. This one just seems so earnest and harmless.]

[Loki feels an urge to warn Billy but he won't. Indirectly it would mean that he would warn the other for himself as well. And Loki knows he needs to be careful with his words. After all, everything could come and bite him in the behind.]

I see, I see.

[He nods slowly, not sure what to think about this.]

I do not like him.

[He's not entirely surprised by this, but he has to ask anyway-]

Why's that?

Call it...a gut feeling.

[After all, who would know Loki better than Loki himself. Okay, there were those differences. But the core should remain the same...? Destroying cities on Midgard...not the most perfect example of being a protagonist, right?]

[Seems like he and Loki have come to the same conclusion.]

...Ah. Well... if anyone were to know, it would be you, I guess. You don't have to like him, though. We're trying to keep a truce, not become best friends.

[Loki raises his eyebrows.]

A truce?

[He shakes his head before he moves to grab a branch and throw it towards Thori who is still running around a couple of feet away.]

That is total and complete nonsense, Billy.

[There's a sharp look in his eyes.]

It's not nonsense, it's practical. We have no reason to fight each other here- not when we have a common goal of escaping this place. We don't have to be friends- [Even if some of us are-] We just have to refrain from killing each other. That's all a truce really is.

I know what a truce is. But a truce is something that gets broken so very easily. Its hardly something one can rely on.

[Especially a truce made with his older self...or Loki in general.]

It is a matter of trusting one another. And really, Billy, you wish to trust my older self?

[That... is a very good question, actually. One he's been puzzling over for a while now.]

I trust him not to make a decision that would cause him to lose the allies he's gained since arriving here- people who would protest, fight, and free him if he was locked up without a good reason. And "because we say he's evil" isn't a good reason to most of the people here.

We all have to live in this place together. Avoiding conflict is our best bet.

[Of course it is, Loki is very good at asking difficult questions.]

You cannot always avoid conflicts. Or confrontations.

[Loki shrugs as if he doesn't care but there is a sharp look in his eyes. Allies. Of course, it seems like a tactic he'd use.]

So I take it you are his ally?

[He sort of feels like he's getting interrogated here.]

Depends on how you'd define an ally. I wouldn't fight against the Avengers for him. But if someone tried to kill him without good reason, I'd do my best stop the fight.

[Well, Loki kind of is doing that...]

Well, an ally is different from a friend. After all, allies share a common goal, will work together to achieve said goal and seperate afterwards.

[He nods slowly.]

For him or just because you are not a fan of unnecessary fighting in general?

[This is important. Very important...]
