I have everyone’s attention, yes? Good, very good.

From one user of magic to another, I have a question for all of those who practice the art of magic or sorcery. Are there some of you where this is a talent that is hidden within one’s genes or is it mere talent? Or is it something one generates from spells out of books? Or are there some who utilize magic wands or some other magic artifact?

This is meant to start an interesting discussion about the usage of magic, you see? To create a bond between magic users... A magical bond!

No way in hel Loki is going to announce that he is not quite able to do magic on his own and that most of his efforts end up in giant headaches and maybe one or two floating objects. And no way he will leave it to just one question. Loki likes asking questions.

May I ask who is pranking my older self? Because to burden him with such an interesting hair do is mischief of a very advanced kind. As the god of mischief I wish to bestow great compliments upon him on her.

[ According to the list Panda provided he has to brighten Nojiko’s Christmas with an amazing gift, and since Loki really wants to give a ~~trolling~~ good present to a maiden who seems to have purple hair he will filters this message so that she cannot catch on to this, yet, he will not mention her name either, after all, no one should be trusted with such information. ]

What does one give to a maiden with an interesting hair color? Something matching with her hair color? A brush to comb that hair? Or a ribbon?

Or maybe something so she can indulge herself into the act of shopping and try on different outfits? After all, that is what most maidens are very, very fond of.

Maiden, do you worship the goddess Saori? She is also a deity from Japan, she has to be part of your pantheon of gods.

No, I'm familiar with the name from this place, but I have not met her or heard of her before arriving here.

Well, for myself, I am a god out of the Norse pantheon. I am not sure if there are humans worshiping me. Probably not, even though it will be most cool to be worshiped.

[Loki's voice sounds thoughtful as he thinks of the things Saori has told him.]

I do not think that Saori expects such a thing. She is rather modest.

Why couldn't I look younger? Loki is a shape shifter in Midgardian mythology. The encyclopedia in the library said so.

That is a rather complicated matter and I might tell you but you sound so awfully bored right now, maiden.

[With a snort, Rei holds up her hand and focuses on the Charter. A small flash appears from her Charter Mark as she prepares the spell, and a miniature comet appears in the palm of her hand. Then she repeats herself, and a second fireball appears using spells Helios had taught her. Next comes Filial magic, a third bead of fire from Eferin's power. Finally, and with very visible strain she calls up her own spiritual powers, and binds them together with fire, creating a miniature phoenix of flame.

Then she tosses it into the sky, the camera following it as it explodes in the air.]

S-satisfied? [Binding four spells took a LOT of effort]

[Loki watches with delight. It would be so very cool if he was able to do this as well. If he was able to.

When Rei is done Loki claps. Hel, he even gives her a standing ovation.]

Most cool and awesome! I am impressed, maiden!

[He moves back to sit in front of the journal again.]

Since the great Loki Laufeyson always keeps his promises I have to ask you to pay attention as I will perform great shape shifting.

Gander upon me.

[Loki ajusts the journal so that Rei can see him standing there. Finally he jumps to the side and throws a book in front of the screen.]

Behold! I am a book!

[Aka: he cannot shapeshift himself out of a paper bag.]

Loki-san, you have no magical talent, do you?

[She doesn't say it meanly, and she is AMUSED by his antics, but she just can't help but ask.]

Loki-san has not, Loki Laufeyson has a lot.

[He is completely unknown to Japanese honorifics and the like, please forgive him.]

It's an honorific from my culture. Loki-kun, then. It means younger boy.

[She's now certain that he is exactly what he appears to be]

Either way, what sort of god has no magic?

[Rei just stares at the camera, mildly annoyed now.]

[Loki disappears from the screen for a moment and returns wrapped in drapes and he even combed his hair to look more 'godly']

As you can see, Loki is most refined and godlike. Behold the multitude of drapes and the handsome features of his face.

[He grabs the headpiece he mostly wears and puts it on his head.]
