[Loki is up at a ridiculous early hour. He hurries to post a message on the corkboard and after that he hurries back into his room to rummage through his stuff and not wake Thor. When it is about sleepovers of a most epic kind Loki needs to come prepared, of course. He figures there might be blankets and a pillow so at least he does not have to drag that all through town.
He picks out some books, some clothes, grabs the notebook where he hid that weird note he has scribbled that one time he cannot remember. He is humming a song to distract him from the fact that he is more confused than anything right now. He has not been able to speak to Leah after their visit to the spa. He has been quite successful in avoiding her, actually, especially since the effect of the chocolates did not fade like they should. Still, sometimes he still peeked out of the window at nights to see if she was sitting there like she always did. Habits never really die easily, after all.
And that is where this epic sleepover comes in! And feel free to bump into him as he is running up and down floor five, making a mess of the kitchen or being far too loud during the morning.]
[Well, Loki arrives at House 44 quite on time. He's holding a bag filled with books and another bag with clothes. Really, the god of mischief is not one for many luggage.]
Hello! Hello! Hello! I have come for the great sleepover!
[He is waving to anyone who might spot him standing underneath a window or in front of the door. And of course he'll knock the door a couple of times for emphasis.]

Dearest land of Luceti,
Since the great feast of Valentine has passed us I think it is an excellent time to assess eachother's experiences during this great feast. Have you been able to achieve great love through my excellent advices? Have you been able to make out with the tongues? Or did you even got the time to rut? After all, the feast of Valentines is an excellent opportunity for such acts of pleasure.
Dr. L. Laufeyson is once again open for all your remarks, suggestions, questions, assumptions, ideas, thoughts, opinions, feelings, views, presumptions, analyses, stories, could be's and should be's.
I am most interested in your stories and I shall answer all your questions just as accurate as I have done before, yes?
All the best in the Nine Realms and the like,
L. Laufeyson
PS: Is there anyone else still suffering from the effects from these chocolate treats? I am still rather eager to engage in the act of hugging. :-/

Re: [action] /dear gawd...
It was no maiden... it was my Captain. To borrow a human phrase, we 'have a history'. He is my friend, and commanding officer. Working together has given me an opportunity to explore and deepen our relationship.... but then I realized that I cared for my Captain beyond that of friendship. My mind... my mind recognized Jim as T'hy'la.. soulmate.
Four months ago during the amnesia shift, my mental barriers were down.. when I came into contact with Jim, I accidentally created a mental link, bonding us together.
[Spock's hands trembled around the cup of tea, so he moved them to hide under the table.]
I kept it secret from him. He knew there was a link, a connection between the two of us, but he did not understand what it meant. And I did not explain for fear of his disgust and rejection.
I was content to let it be.... however, the shift we experienced during Valentines forced me to act. The bond craved physical contact... and I gave in.
For a moment, I... I thought he had accepted it...but then.... [Spock swallowed, and looked down..]... he ran away from me.
[Have a miserable Vulcan... and congrats Loki, you're the first one to know in complete detail.]
[action] *U*
Of course, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. My experience has been rather similar. My bff plays this 'hard-to-get' game but during the Valentines feast we held hands and kissed with the tongues. Of course, now she plays a game of hard to get again. Most frustrating.
But...this is not about me. You are obviously quite miserable about it, yes? Hence you are trembling.
[He sips on his shaken milk in a thoughtful manner. In the meanwhile he remembered that he accidentally bit Leah's tongue while kissing.]
My first question is...has he been affected by the curse? The curse has been warping other's minds, you see?
Re: [action]
[Spock looks away...]
I am living in a nightmare of my own creation.
[action]
Your feelings for your captain did not disappear at all, am I correct? I am, aren't I?
[Loki leans forward a bit.]
This is not a nightmare created by you, it is a nightmare the Malnosso have exploited and now your feelings are used against you. Thus...it is not your fault.
[He wished he could apply such logic on himself as well, but that was a completely different story...]
Re: [action]
He... he is not ready as I am.
[Spock would never admit that he was sad.]
It is not so easy to think in those terms, logical as they are. [And that was difficult to say as a Vulcan.]
Bonds are... beyond the Malnosso.
[action]
[He sips from his milkshake again.]
Aye. They are beyond the Malnosso. But they know of them, you see? After all, we are their test subjects.
It is painful and perhaps sad as well. But my advice is...
[It would be unfair to call upon mischief for a situation like this. Spock is being genuine and thus so shall Loki be.]
...to let time heal wounds. Time is good at healing wounds.
[Yes, that is a perfect reason to avoid Leah. Just to let time heal wounds.]
Re: [action]
You advice for me is...
.....to do nothing?
[action]
Perhaps, in that case, I have to change my advice to 'go for it'.
Re: [action]
Your older counterpart for instance.
[Spock did not pout.... nope, definitely not.]
[action]
Er...my older self? Your captain is Kirk, right? This is the right moment to announce that my mind is quite blown.
So the one you have to beat to win Kirk's heart is my older self?
[Loki frowns deeply. He can give some advice but he has to be careful to not get involved in his older self's affairs. Agreement and all.]
Hmm. I will withdraw my earlier advice and replace it for another advice...
Re: [action]
Negative... violence is not required. He is not a threat... merely... I cannot stop my Captain from seeking the attentions of others. Loki is only one example...
[Spock could think of several names that came to mind...]
[action]
Second of all, I am quite sure that my older self could severely hurt you.
[Loki leans back and humms softly.]
Am I correct to presume Kirk is quite...promiscuous?
Re: [action]
I am aware of your counterpart's abilities... it was never my intention to to do...anything to him.
[Spock flushes at the last question.]
He...is a man in his prime. [Way to not answer the question Spock.]
[action]
[He is more musing to himself than talking to Spock, actually.]
His prime?
I think that is not the right word to describe Kirk's behaviour.
I think he is just fond of intercourse and kissing.
Re: [action]
...but not the Vulcan. Though he did stare at Loki for a long moment.]
Vulcans do not feel jealousy.
[action]
That is a lie.
Re: [action]
Be that as it may... I am adamant in my decision of leaving your other self and my Captain alone.
[action]
Now what kind of great advice would suit the best?]
So you wish to make yourself suffer?
[If Leah would get involved with someone like that...Loki would not stand for it. In the end. At least.]
Instead of solving this rather complicated predicament?
Re: [action]
When he opened them, it was to glare just a little bit at Loki.]
What would you have me do? Jim does not believe that. I. Love. Him. Either by some convoluted sense of depreciation, he does not think himself worthy of love, and therefore turns away from it.
I do not wish to force the matter, as he has allowed me more slack that I deserve.
....he is not ready.
[action]
They aren't helping him much. So he has to rely on his own wit and his own knowledge. About love. Most tricky. Loki tells himself to choose his words wisely.]
Hmn.
The great sentiment of love is something that grows and develops non-stop. It alters, sometimes it grows deeper, sometimes love focuses on something or someone else. Sometimes you know it is not even there until you realize it.
[Right? Right.]
Everyone is worthy of love. Or to be loved. Ah, I think we have found the reason why your captain is so promiscuous right there as well.
[The tapping stops.]
I also think you have come with your own solution for this predicament, you see? Perhaps your captain is not ready now. But now is not later. Or later than later.
Normally I would say 'fight for your love'. But I think that is not applicable to this. My dear Spock of the Enterprise, it will be most agonizing for you but try to be his friend. Make him realize you are valuable to him. That valuable.
[He is not even joking anymore, this is the most serious Valentines advice out of his career.]
Re: [action]
...for a long time.
When he looks up at Loki, his brown eyes are expressive, and so painfully human.]
You are right. You have given me much to consider Mister Loki... I should meditate on it and simply be... Jim's friend. [...and show him how good they could be together.]
I should go now...
I thank thee for your time.
[action]
You are not one for conversation, right?
I do hope my great advice will be of help.
[He sits back and takes the half full glass of shaken milk in his hands.]
Fare ye well, Spock of the Enterprise. And do keep me updated about your situation.
Thanks m'dear! That was fun! ^_^ and sad...
Peace and long life Mister Loki...
[And with that...the Vulcan walked away.]
