[Everyone who is listening can hear the sound of leaves rustling followed by a soft groan coming from someone's mouth.

After that there are footsteps that slowly fade away but get louder again after a minute or two. Apparently someone discovered the book and the small yelp followed by a referral to Odin's empty eye socket might give the impression that someone managed to step into a pinecone with his bare foot.

There is more rustling and a soft thud, the sound of someone opening a book and...]

Oh! It is a Midgardian recording device in a book!

How perfectly...impractical!

[Since the owner of this voice, Loki Laufeyson from Asgard, is really fond of any Midgardian way of communicating through long-distance connections he figures the book out in a rather quick way.

Eventually his face appears on everyone's feed, finger tapping against the screen to test if it might be a screen of touch, like his own phone of Stark used to have.]

Everyone! I figure this book of communication has been left to me with a certain purpose. So I shall ask for your aid, yes?

[Loki takes a deep breath.]

First of all, someone has provided me with white pants, yet has forgotten to give me a proper shirt. Second of all, I am fairly sure this is not Broxton.

Is there a town nearby? At least one where I can get proper garments?

[Ororo's attention is caught by the sound of a young voice - a New Feather, it seems - and decides to answer, if only because she hates seeing such young people drawn into the mess that is Luceti. Have the Malnosso no class, really, dragging mere children into their affaris...]

Aye! That is good news. It is chilly without a proper shirt.

Do tell me about this village, does it have a connection to the world of online. I do think it would be wise to update my book of faces.

Online? [Have a little smile of sympathy.] If you are referring to the internet, I'm afraid you are mistaken; the closest thing to a system like that would be the journal network, and it is nothing like the internet.

Are you from Earth then, little one?

[Loki raises an eyebrow at the mention of his brother's name. Even after his death his fame is still widely known. It fills him with a mixture of joy and sadness.]

[Some frowning on Ororo's part. She doesn't remember her Norse mythology very well, or else she could make an educated guess right about now. Alas.]

And you, little one? What is your name?

I am half a giant, I am not quite little.

[She decides to humor him.]

No? My apologies, it's hard to notice things such as size through the journal's camera. I suppose I should not have assumed.

I merely wanted to make one aware of the fact that being a mere child does not make one little by default, yes? For a child I am rather tall.

But most children are quite a bit smaller in size to adults still, are they not?

Of course they are. One does not have to be a genius to make a conclusion like that, maiden.

I am merely pointing out that I am rather tall. Of course not fully grown into adulthood. I would prefer staying a child, though.

Well now, seeing as I am rather tall for an adult myself, would you not count as little in the meantime? In time, of course, you will grow, perhaps taller than most around you.
