1. [accidental sound --> video]
[Everyone who is listening can hear the sound of leaves rustling followed by a soft groan coming from someone's mouth.
After that there are footsteps that slowly fade away but get louder again after a minute or two. Apparently someone discovered the book and the small yelp followed by a referral to Odin's empty eye socket might give the impression that someone managed to step into a pinecone with his bare foot.
There is more rustling and a soft thud, the sound of someone opening a book and...]
Oh! It is a Midgardian recording device in a book!
How perfectly...impractical!
[Since the owner of this voice, Loki Laufeyson from Asgard, is really fond of any Midgardian way of communicating through long-distance connections he figures the book out in a rather quick way.
Eventually his face appears on everyone's feed, finger tapping against the screen to test if it might be a screen of touch, like his own phone of Stark used to have.]
Everyone! I figure this book of communication has been left to me with a certain purpose. So I shall ask for your aid, yes?
[Loki takes a deep breath.]
First of all, someone has provided me with white pants, yet has forgotten to give me a proper shirt. Second of all, I am fairly sure this is not Broxton.
Is there a town nearby? At least one where I can get proper garments?

[action]
[He blinks at the shirt, taken aback for a moment - holy crap, that's seriously a rageface shirt. And now he's kind of kicking himself for not finding it first; Teddy probably would've loved it.
The mental image of Loki wearing it is a nice trade-off, though, admittedly.]
I prefer the troll, myself.
[action]
[Loki looks serious for a moment before handing the shirt to his newly made friend.]
Here. You take this one then, I shall take that one over there. It shall be a good addition to both our civvies, yes?
[action]
Sounds like a plan. So you've got an outfit, and you can always come back for more- want to find a place to stay until you can go home, next?
[action]
That would be rather nice.
[Loki plucks a pair of jeans from the rack as well.]
You know a...hotel or a ehm...motel, Wiccan?
[action]
[action]
I can use some sleep and then find a proper way back home tomorrow.
[He still refuses to believe he is stuck here. Not even after all the things Wiccan has told him. Loki believes in the fact there is a way out of everything. Also this land of Luceti.]
Show me the way.
[action]
Sure, come on. It's not far from here, so we can just walk.
[Aaaand he starts off, leading the way out of the store and along the path towards building #5.]
[action]
Are there more people living there?
[He figures the answer is 'yes' since it would be most logic.]
[action]
[action]
Where will I be staying? I mean...the floor?
[He starts to walk a bit slower, still yawning.]
[action]
[action]
A place to sleep sounds really good right now, I must say.
I am most grateful for all your help. When I shall leave you must give me your address so we can become b.f.f.'s through writing letters, yes?
Pen-b.f.f.'s.
[action]
[Poor kid's looking pretty wasted, though, so once they're through the apartment doors, Billy lifts his hands again, calling up his magic.]
Hold on, we don't have to take the stairs. This is a shorter jump than going from the plaza.
[Teleporting to the fifth floor, whee?]
[action]
[He should remember that word, it sounds really awesome.]
I could do a combination of both. I will visit you and bring a letter.
[Loki rubs his eyes and yawns, looking at what Billy is doing.]
That sounds like a good plan. One has a sharp mind, Wiccan.
[Whee!]
[action]
These two are what's open right now- on this floor, anyway. I'm just gonna pick one now, if you don't mind, and you can move to whichever apartment you want after you've slept.
[He starts for #25, which is closest- plus it has the best window arrangement.]
[action]
One is worthy of the thankfulness of Loki, Wiccan of New York.
[He smiles and makes a theatrical gesture with his arms.]
But I must be forward with you. I desire a good, long sleep.
[action]
[Billy opens the apartment door for him, lingering at the entrance to let him in and then be on his way soon after. No sense in keeping the poor kid awake when he looks about ready to fall over.]
There's food in the kitchen for when you wake up and feel hungry. And like I said, room 21's my place. Swing by any time you want.
[action]
It is rather overwhelming.
[He steps into the apartment, looking around himself. It is not feeling familiar and it lacks books. And his (very few) belongings.
He nods at Billy's words and smiles.]
You are most welcome to swing by here as well.
[action]
[Billy grins, offering up a farewell wave and disappearing back out the door. And then he'll just have his quiet, spazzy moment of surreality once he's out of sight.
Tiny friggin' Loki Laufeyson is his new neighbour, what the heck.]
[action]
[He slowly closes the door to his apartment and looks around. He comes to the conclusion this apartment has too many beds so he decides to take the one the closest to a window.
He is not aware of Billy spazzing outside his room, and maybe that is for the best, because no one has ever did such a thing upon seeing him.
With a yawn he curls up in said bed, makes a mental note of the fact that Midgardian beds are far more comfortable and finally falls asleep.]
