1. [accidental sound --> video]
[Everyone who is listening can hear the sound of leaves rustling followed by a soft groan coming from someone's mouth.
After that there are footsteps that slowly fade away but get louder again after a minute or two. Apparently someone discovered the book and the small yelp followed by a referral to Odin's empty eye socket might give the impression that someone managed to step into a pinecone with his bare foot.
There is more rustling and a soft thud, the sound of someone opening a book and...]
Oh! It is a Midgardian recording device in a book!
How perfectly...impractical!
[Since the owner of this voice, Loki Laufeyson from Asgard, is really fond of any Midgardian way of communicating through long-distance connections he figures the book out in a rather quick way.
Eventually his face appears on everyone's feed, finger tapping against the screen to test if it might be a screen of touch, like his own phone of Stark used to have.]
Everyone! I figure this book of communication has been left to me with a certain purpose. So I shall ask for your aid, yes?
[Loki takes a deep breath.]
First of all, someone has provided me with white pants, yet has forgotten to give me a proper shirt. Second of all, I am fairly sure this is not Broxton.
Is there a town nearby? At least one where I can get proper garments?

[action]
My thanks, Wiccan.
[He spins around on one foot and points at one of the shops on the left of them.]
I am not one for shopping but I figure we could start there. And after I have reclaimed what is mine you should tell me more about your abilities.
[action]
[And he's still on the lookout for his more dorky shirts, just in case.]
[action]
[So he really could just pick everything from that store? But wait...civvies? Now thats a phrase Loki has never heard of...]
Civvies? Is that a Midgardian type of costume? Is it the type of garment Midgardians love so much that they decide to all purchase it because it is...a trend to do so? Yes?
[Loki starts walking towards the store, actually rather excited.]
[action]
[Is he an official guide to Earth customs, now? Because he can roll with that.]
It means "civilian clothes". It's what supers usually wear when they're not in costume.
[action]
Since I am gifted with mischief my Asgardian garments would be my super hero costume, yes? So if I change into...say, a pair of Midgardian jeans and a shirt I will be dressed in my civvies.
Then I shall acquire some civvies for myself as well.
[He opens the door to the shop and looks inside. And right there, next to a stack of black slacks...his own clothes.]
By Odin's empty eyesocket!
[action]
Let me guess, you found your own stuff? It shows up here within the first few days, so don't worry, this is normal.
[action]
[Loki holds up a pile of clothes containing a lot of green and black and some yellow details.]
Shopkeeper, I shall be taking these. These are my clothes, I shall not pay any fee for them.
[Immediately he moves to put his clothes on and proves he has find a remarkable quick way to put on two shirts, a pair of tights, a tunic, gloves and a pair of boots. After that he walks around while pulling a black hood over his head, quickly tucking his hair underneath.]
Ah! That is mine as well!
[He leans over to grab something that looks like a golden tiara from the counter and puts that on his head.]
Wiccan, I am most ready to purchase more garments. I would suggest that corner over there. It has shirts containing witty exclamations, I am quite fond of those.
[action]
This? This is awesome, and he grins, shaking his head with one hand rested on his hip. He waves apologetically at the shopkeeper (who has already lost interest- sigh, clueless New Feathers - and follows Loki over to the display.]
Actually, money doesn't exist here. You can basically take what you want and not have to pay for any of it.
[action]
I see. The inhabitants of this village have access to free clothes and in exchange scientists use us for their...experiments, yes?
[Loki is not looking as if he is agreeing to such a term and...oh...oh, that shirt. He picks it up and shows it to Wiccan.]
Shirts with the faces of rage! They are most perfect when I want to express my feelings at certain events.
[action]
[He blinks at the shirt, taken aback for a moment - holy crap, that's seriously a rageface shirt. And now he's kind of kicking himself for not finding it first; Teddy probably would've loved it.
The mental image of Loki wearing it is a nice trade-off, though, admittedly.]
I prefer the troll, myself.
[action]
[Loki looks serious for a moment before handing the shirt to his newly made friend.]
Here. You take this one then, I shall take that one over there. It shall be a good addition to both our civvies, yes?
[action]
Sounds like a plan. So you've got an outfit, and you can always come back for more- want to find a place to stay until you can go home, next?
[action]
That would be rather nice.
[Loki plucks a pair of jeans from the rack as well.]
You know a...hotel or a ehm...motel, Wiccan?
[action]
[action]
I can use some sleep and then find a proper way back home tomorrow.
[He still refuses to believe he is stuck here. Not even after all the things Wiccan has told him. Loki believes in the fact there is a way out of everything. Also this land of Luceti.]
Show me the way.
[action]
Sure, come on. It's not far from here, so we can just walk.
[Aaaand he starts off, leading the way out of the store and along the path towards building #5.]
[action]
Are there more people living there?
[He figures the answer is 'yes' since it would be most logic.]
[action]
[action]
Where will I be staying? I mean...the floor?
[He starts to walk a bit slower, still yawning.]
[action]
[action]
A place to sleep sounds really good right now, I must say.
I am most grateful for all your help. When I shall leave you must give me your address so we can become b.f.f.'s through writing letters, yes?
Pen-b.f.f.'s.
[action]
[Poor kid's looking pretty wasted, though, so once they're through the apartment doors, Billy lifts his hands again, calling up his magic.]
Hold on, we don't have to take the stairs. This is a shorter jump than going from the plaza.
[Teleporting to the fifth floor, whee?]
[action]
[He should remember that word, it sounds really awesome.]
I could do a combination of both. I will visit you and bring a letter.
[Loki rubs his eyes and yawns, looking at what Billy is doing.]
That sounds like a good plan. One has a sharp mind, Wiccan.
[Whee!]
[action]
These two are what's open right now- on this floor, anyway. I'm just gonna pick one now, if you don't mind, and you can move to whichever apartment you want after you've slept.
[He starts for #25, which is closest- plus it has the best window arrangement.]
[action]
One is worthy of the thankfulness of Loki, Wiccan of New York.
[He smiles and makes a theatrical gesture with his arms.]
But I must be forward with you. I desire a good, long sleep.
