1. [accidental sound --> video]
[Everyone who is listening can hear the sound of leaves rustling followed by a soft groan coming from someone's mouth.
After that there are footsteps that slowly fade away but get louder again after a minute or two. Apparently someone discovered the book and the small yelp followed by a referral to Odin's empty eye socket might give the impression that someone managed to step into a pinecone with his bare foot.
There is more rustling and a soft thud, the sound of someone opening a book and...]
Oh! It is a Midgardian recording device in a book!
How perfectly...impractical!
[Since the owner of this voice, Loki Laufeyson from Asgard, is really fond of any Midgardian way of communicating through long-distance connections he figures the book out in a rather quick way.
Eventually his face appears on everyone's feed, finger tapping against the screen to test if it might be a screen of touch, like his own phone of Stark used to have.]
Everyone! I figure this book of communication has been left to me with a certain purpose. So I shall ask for your aid, yes?
[Loki takes a deep breath.]
First of all, someone has provided me with white pants, yet has forgotten to give me a proper shirt. Second of all, I am fairly sure this is not Broxton.
Is there a town nearby? At least one where I can get proper garments?

[Even by her standards, his language is dated...]
The town, to my knowledge, has no name. Merely, the village. However I assure you it is quite far removed from Broxton.
The Village? That would be impossible to find on a map of some sort! All the villages are a village.
[He walks forward, holding the book in his hands.]
There is a river down there. Shall I wait there, yes?
[Saori closes her eyes, and Loki may hear the sound of thunder in the air near the river and spy a cloudbank forming over part of it]
Walk along until you reach the cloud. I will meet you there.
[She heads out, leaving the book open and the feed broadcasting in case the child is worried or nervous. Under one arm, she brings a basket with some sandals and a shirt.]
Eventually he starts walking towards those clouds. No way he is scared of thunder, after all, he's Loki.]
Does one possess an ability to control the weather?
[She drifts lazily through the air, skimming the treetops on a strong breeze, looking down at the camera]
And what of you? You speak of Midgard and in antiquated patterns. You are of Asgard, are you not?
Aye!
[Loki nods and smiles. Still he is not sure about the antiquated patterns, after all, Loki is very up to date with Midgardian speak.]
And you?
[Her voice is kind and sweet, an Asgardian deserves respect]
I am called Saori Kimura, the Daughter of Wind and Rain. What is your name, young one?
She sounds really kind.]
Loki.
[The smile broadens.]
God of mischief.
[And lies, but that information is irrelevant. At least, right now it is.]
[Saori's voice is flat, but intrigued. Another one? Oh by the spirits above...two Loki's.]
Its nice to meet you, young godling.
[With that, she arrives at the cloudbank and lands on the riverbank]
Aye. I take it you know of me?
[He watches her land and reminds himself that he should make her his friend. She seems nice, and she controls the weather.]
Nice to meet you as well, fair maiden of the land of Tengoku Japan.
[She walks over and bends down with a merry smile]
Tengoku is Heaven, and like you I am a god.
Then we should shake hands.
[She beams and offers him a hand. A child Loki from another world wasn't nearly so daunting as the other Loki she'd met in Luceti, or the one from her own world. He doesn't feel nearly so powerful, either, but she bets he can sense things about her...]
Its nice to meet you, young Loki.
Likewise!
[Slowly he lets go, still smiling while his brains are working over time.]
For the short moment I will be staying here we should become B.F.F.'s. Yes?
[She laughs at his enthusiasm]
I suppose so, yes. We owe one another at least some professional courtesy, I should say. And you are a most adorable little trickster, assuming you haven't shifted your form to tease me.
Ah! I might have! After all, it is common knowledge that women, goddesses even, are weak to the innocence of a mere child.
And since I am Loki I should take advantage from such a thing, yes?
Except that I can sense you do not have much in the way of magical power. Goddesses can feel such things, can't they?
[And then she reaches out, and pats him gently on the shoulder]
Don't try and lie to me, young one, not about trivial things. I'm less likely to believe you in the future. I AM inclined to be kind to anyone dumped in this place though.
Kind maiden, one cannot ask the god of lies to not lie. It is my nature after all.
But since I will refer to you as my b.f.f. in the most fond way, I shall try and keep my lies to an absolute minimum.
[Action]
[She laughs, gesturing to the east]
Follow me, and we'll get you to the village. Its not a long walk, and you can ask questions along the way.
[Action]
[He laughs as well and nods, holding the journal under his arm.]
Aye.
[Action]
And aren't you awfully quick to decide I'm a b.f.f.?
[Action]
[Ah, that would be rather unfortunate.]
Ah. Aye, that is true indeed. I shall refer to you as 'my b.f.f. in training'. Right?
[Action] I assume Surtur?
No, not Surtur. Just wild beasts.
And if you like, we can be B.F.F.s, I don't mind. Its a rare day I meet another god, here of all places.
[Especially not child versions of someone she'd already met]
[Action]
[At her second comment he nods firmly.]
Then B.F.F.'s we shall be.
Another god? Are there more divine beings amongst the inhabitants of this village?
[Action]
[Saori beams]
Yes, there are other gods here. They're all nice enough [except maybe your older self...] though there is one you should be careful of. A wolf god named Moro. Do not cut down the trees in the forest without permission, or she will tear you apart. Of course, if you stay on her good side she's nice enough...if a tad snarly.

[Action] This seem like a good stopping point?
[Action] Yep! :D
